  • What is Reliance Mail Max Service?
    Reliance Mail Max services offer enterprise class fault tolerant mailing services to businesses on an outsourced managed services model. Reliance Mail Max solutions are aimed towards the medium and high enterprise segment. Customers can subscribe to dedicated solutions if the requirement is for a high storage space and wants their mail traffic to be dedicated.

  • How Reliance Mail Max service works?
    As per customer’s requirement of no. of mailboxes, Reliance will be providing you whole dedicated messaging infrastructure and required application as well as infrastructure support.
    Reliance will be providing end to end managed solution right from installation, configuration of mail admin accounts to management of whole mailing solution along with 24*7 monitoring of whole setup

  • Is it possible to opt for Reliance Mail Max service where customer is already using necessary infrastructure for other messaging application and wants to migrate it with Reliance Mail Max service?
    Yes provided that existing mail setup must be compatible with our messaging solution. Otherwise a fresh email setup of Mail Max can suffice your requirement.
    Migration of customer’s existing messaging solution to Reliance Mail Max services includes:
    a) IDC will give the requirements to the customer.
    b) Customer will confirm with the specifications and give the user list to be created on the new server on the specified format given by reliance.
    c) Once specification is confirmed, IDC would install the OS and Messaging application and pass on the application access URLs to the customer for confirmation.
    d) Before taking to live, customer will confirm it.
    e) Customer will ask his end users to download all the mails from the server and confirm.
    f) After confirmation, IDC would assign the existing mail server IP to the new server. This would have a minimal downtime on the existing mail server.

  • What if the customer purchases the necessary hardware for messaging application and hosts it at RIDC?
    In this case customer will only be charged for infrastructure cost, software and license fees along with maintenance and support cost.

  • What if the customer wants only maintenance and support for his own messaging setup?

  • How is the Reliance Mail Max service offered in terms of plans and prices?
    Reliance Mail Max service is available in multiple packages on number of user account basis to suite your specific requirements. Service offers flexibility of taking different plans of 250, 500, 1000, 1500 and 2000 user. Beyond 2000 users customized solutions will be worked out as per customer’s requirement. Additional slabs are also available for mailboxes, mail space etc. There is no further complexity in subscribing the service, as we have already bundled all other options such as Anti-Virus & Anti-Spam protection through Reliance Mail Protect services, server as well as application monitoring, ample amount of Data Transfer and backup, collocation, shared firewall etc. to provide best of breed email security with utmost peace of mind.

  • Is it possible to opt for additional data transfer and backup than what is specified in standard plans?
    Yes it is possible. Data transfer and backup upgrades are always possible.

  • What are the charges for Reliance Mail Max service?
    Reliance Mail Max service is available in multiple packages on number of user account basis to suite your specific requirements.   • Are there any other hidden costs such as hardware / software investments or additional charges for service components features etc?
    No. There are so such costs whatsoever apart from customized solution.

  • How long does it take to activate the service?
    After customer confirms the order, it will take approximately 7-9 weeks to procure necessary hardware proposed for the particular customer. Other services can be implemented in 7 days.
