The "Database Management Service" offers monitoring and management of customer’s database environment (MS SQL, My SQL, Oracle) by experienced DBA’s round the clock. IDC DBA team will manage all database related activities and ensure to keep the database servers up and running, with optimal performance.

Database Management Service ensures that you get fast responses to critical issues. Additionally you get unlimited technical phone support, access to our specialised DBA team, and various other business critical support features.
For simplicity Reliance has packaged Database Management Services in 4 packages:

  • Essential Database Management– per server
    This structure provides all the essential support activities required on your database on routine basis.
  • Enhanced Database Management- per server
    Enhanced Database Management services provides complete support for your database including all the essential support activities required on routine basis. Support activities include understating your database environment, mutually defining scope of database management activities and defining timelines to the same.
  • Engaged Database Management (only for Oracle database)
    Engaged Database Management services provides virtually dedicated DBA to completely support your database environment. Engaged database management support includes database design, database implementation, technical consulting, reporting and optimising. You will receive reports related to all activities as per your requirement.  
  • DBA Hourly Assistance
    Customers who do not wish to subscribe Database Management Services, can also avail our DBA expertise on Hourly Assistance Support model. This subscription will ensure that the support can be provided immediately during critical hour of need. For detail on time / activity matrix, please refer DM - Features and Plans.
All customers who have subscribed Database Management Services, can avail support on given database platforms 24x7 basis, simply by contacting Reliance IDC Help desk and getting trouble ticket (TT) for any activity / support. IDC help desk can be reached by any mode of communication such as Email, Phone, Fax, or Chat.
